Dr. Glaser opened the specialty practice in 1997, dedicated to medical and surgical
eye care for children in a warm and supportive environment. We strive
to provide top quality eye care in the Montgomery and Frederick County regional
communities. We work in partnership with your primary care physician in
the diagnosis and treatment of systemic and ocular disease. We also participate
in and support studies with the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group (PEDIG - a division of National Institute of Health) that further advance our ability to
diagnose and treat children with childhood eye disorders.
Our physicians,
Stephen R. Glaser, M.D., Jenifer A. Aventuro Luck, M.D., and Monica
Pacheco, M.D. are fellowship trained pediatric ophthalmologists and eye
surgeons. Each of the doctors are familiar and genuinely interested in
the care of young children. Both professionally and personally, they
understand the special needs of infants and children.
Your child
will receive thorough and caring attention in our child-friendly examination rooms.
In addition, we will provide you with a complete understanding of your child's
eye condition and the available treatment options. Our office welcomes your
